A clinical trial causes a woman to develop telepathic and telekinetic abilities that manifest from an entity who looks similar to her brother who was murdered in a swimming pool. I wanted to give the audience the same feeling the lead character, Nora, has when she discovers she now has these abilities that stem from a connection to her brother. This included atonal scoring and psychoacoustics that emanate from being held under water.
