David is a sound designer/composer from Plantation, Florida, by way of Knoxville, Tennessee, who enjoys collaborating on projects to include sound as an additional character to drive the narrative.
He is currently serving as the Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre Sound Design at Shenandoah Conservatory at Shenandoah University. David is an early career member of TSDCA (Theatrical Sound Designers and Composers Association) and a member of the Audio Engineering Society.
David received his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at the University of Tennessee and his Master of Fine Arts in Theatre: Sound Design and Technology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
His theatrical career began in high school as an actor and general technician. Once he traded onstage for offstage, David worked as a shop hand, general rigging operator, mixing engineer, and freelance composer. He uses the many aspects of theatre to encompass audiences in his music and designs through collaboration with fellow artists.
