David is a Regional sound designer/composer from Plantation, Florida, by way of Knoxville, Tennessee, who enjoys collaborating on projects to include sound as an additional character to drive the narrative.

A proud member of TSDCA (Theatrical Sound Designers and Composers Association) and AES (Audio Engineering Society), David currently serves as the Sound Supervisor and Lecturer of Theatre Sound Engineering at University of North Carolina Greensboro.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at the University of Tennessee and his Master of Fine Arts in Theatre: Sound Design and Technology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

His theatrical career began in high school as an actor and general technician. Once he traded onstage for offstage, David worked as a shop hand, general rigging operator, mixing engineer, and freelance composer. He uses the many aspects of theatre to encompass audiences in his music and designs through collaboration with fellow artists.
